Kaley and Canaan: October 8, 2022 at Parker Preserve Trail

Congratulations Kaley and Canaan! This sweet couple was married on Saturday in a natural arch formed by hardwood trees just off Parker Preserve Trail in Chapel Hill. Kaley and Canaan are extraordinarily kind. They are very fun to be with. They shared their whole wedding on Facebook live so all their friends and family could easily join them. They share a deep reverence for Mother Earth and all her inhabitants. So, it’s not surprising that birds, deer, and squirrels joined the other guests to surrounded Kaley and Canaan in love as they took their vows.

Kaley and Canaan, I wish you all the happiness your hearts can hold, and may you be blessed always!

Randa and Kirby: April 30, 2022 at Rolling View State Park

Lakeside ceremony at Rolling View State Park.

What a beautiful day it was for a wedding by the lake when Randa and Kirby took their vows before their closest loved ones. They included a ritual handwashing as a symbol of releasing the past. When they made their promises and exchanged their rings it was a new beginning in every way. They are a lovely couple, and I wish them love and happiness that lasts a lifetime and beyond!

Megan and Corey: January 15, 2022 at The Pavilion at the Angus Barn

The top tier wedding officiants in the Research Triangle area are a very collaborative group. We stay in close contact and network with each other regularly. We are there for each other to provide backup when necessary, and this is how I ended up officiating the wedding ceremony for Megan and Corey.

Just two days before their wedding, the minister working with this bride and groom called me saying she had tested positive for COVID-19, and asked if would be able to help them. Megan and Corey are a lovely couple, and I am honored that I was able to step in and perform their wedding rites at the beautiful Pavilion at the Angus Barn.
